My son Benicio, has been playing travel basketball for a long time. I have coached him but needed someone else to continue with his development as I think that a player needs another voice to get to the next level. I had him play for an older AAU team in Dutchess County but while the practices and drills were excellent, the politics in the team was horrible. The hidden agendas and cliques were too much. I met Coach King and he invited Ben to tryout with his team. I had Ben tryout and it was the best decision we have made for his development. Coach King is both tough and fair. There were no hidden agendas. You practice/play smart and hard and you will get playing time. Ben is a better player because of it. Thank you Coach!

My daughter Sam played and trained with Coach King for 3 years. It got her ready for her College career. Not only did she get in shape and learned a lot from the coaches. She discovered her love for coaching others herself. She developed a friendship with coaches and she keeps much contact with them. They truly listen to her thoughts and advice and truly cared about her. She also developed a passion for helping others in sport injuries. She is currently playing college basketball in Pennsylvania on a full scholarship and studying to be a athletic trainer minor in physical therapy. We would always be thankful to Coach King, Coach Joe, and a big thank you to Coach Smitty.

My son Giovanni became a part of this league last winter and it was one of the best things he did. I have watched him grow in his confidence and skill in basketball. The coaching staff invested in each player on a personally level. Coach King and Coach Rodriquez believed in my son even when he didn’t believe in himself. They took there time with our children encouraging them on and off the court. Which is so important for our youth today. Being a part of this league will always be a memorable part of our lives as we not only became part of a basketball league but we all became a family. "We started our son in the FishkillKings Basketball AAU program since 2017 while he was in the fourth grade, we had him in a CYO program before and realized he wasn't getting the full benefits he needed to improve his skillset, confidence, competitive drive, ball sense and game decision making.
Since his time till now with the Kings, all the above has improved tremendously, his ball handling and confidence has exceptionally improved with the Help of Coach King, Coach Rodriguez and Coach Phil.
The Kings program has definitely proven to be phenomenally effective and efficient and we are extremely Happy to be apart of the Kings Family. Our Son is now in 6th Grade and his Basketball skillset is at 8th grade level, this is how successful the Kings AUU program has been.
